The French Open

Just got off seeing the men's singles finals, as you might know Spaniard Rafael Nadal won the Open by beating the unseeded Argentine Mariano Puerta 6-7, 6-3, 6-1, 7-5. Although not my favorite tournament, followed it quite closely this time around. Must admit didn't know this Nadal guy before this tournament started but have grown a liking for his game especially the drop shot which he used to perfection on many ocassions in the final. The ladies were a bit boring, Henin winning the last matches quite comfortably. Also disappointed with the Paes-Navaratilova failure in the finals, better luck next time.
Hope Federer gets out of the loss and comes back roaring at the Wimbledon, but it will be interesting to see how this Nadal kid performs on grass. Go Federer.
